Dear Silver Junkies !

the upgrades on the little camp trailer are coming along ...

the 60" plasma with auto hide screen looks great !

the lap pool is done and we just started filling it with water...
i bet you'll love the wet slide...
they are installing the diving board tomorrow.

the bowling alley (two-lanes) is ready for the last coat of sealant...

we did install the new wolf (eight-burner) range,

the new sub-zero side-by-side full swing walk-in refrigerator & freezer with crushed ice & water in the door -up-grade really keeps the sodas cool....

the new Lutron computer auto dimmer light system with auto reflect- heat sensors is such a comfort at night ...

we did get a phone call from NASA ..they complained about the shine coming from the trailer, something about their little shuttle thingy not being able to see where to land...maybe they sould wash their widows !

Do you think we should go with the Brazilian mahogany for the floors or we did find this really beautiful beveled french versi' limestone ??? the wood is warmer on a cool morning....but the stone looks really nice at night around the built-in gas fireplace.....

well you decide !!!!

Sure, Mimi makes me laugh - but her daughter?  Her daughter is a total Kick-Ass-In-Training. Check this out....

Yep, that'd be a book she wrote herself.  World totally needs many, many more of these just like this.

You have to keep a landline phone at home so people in jail can call you collect.

I just drove by WinCo. I ordered a cake and need to pick it up - but when I saw cars parked in every nook and cranny available, I figured I'd come back later...sheesh.

Meanwhile - check this out.
.

How often do you see a fish bent in half? lol

Ugh...srsly.   This shoe was actually on some "retro" clothes and fashions site and costs over 80.00 -- I would NOT pay over 80.00 to be embarassed in public.

I was thinking to myself that I probably would have seen it fly off so where could it have gone? Just then it popped back up out of the water a good 25 feet beyond where I had last seen it...ah ha! Now I was on to what it was doing. I stood there for 15 - 20 minutes watching the loon pop up and down (I wanted to see it bring a fish up) and the clouds on the water and the sun rising. So gorgeous. I'm so lucky to live here.

So, I'm transferring this huge back up file from one directory to another and my 'puter is bogging down on apps so I decide to surf *gasp! I know!! Its been SO LONG!!*

I was on Not Martha re-checking it out because of the whole bacon cup thing and I found a link to this shower art somehow (I've lost the exact trail really) but jeezuz is this fucking funny or what?!?

I know my precious Layniedoodle will hate this cuz its got a "monkey" in it.  Too bad baby - this shit cracks me up...

And to catch y'all up on what else I've been doing:

* Work is kicking my ass but I kind of deserve it after taking the 00's off for the first eight years

* I have a new job and I work downtown now - way cool to be downtown

* I basically lost my raise by spending it all working downtown; however life satisfaction quotient has increased dramatically so it all evens out

* I don't post much because I'm making Xmas gifts this year instead of buying so my nights are generally taken up by that instead of surfing/posting

* LPL and I sold fish on Aquabid!  Hopefully it all goes well and we can start MOVIN SOME PRODUCT...lol, I'm talking about fish like they're crack

* My bowling game has improved dramatically; if I don't hit the Vodka Tonics too hard I can consistently break 100!

* My kids are going through a tough time - their dad/stepmom have half-sibling #2 on the way and the step-mom is a little bit wacky because of it.  I can only imagine the stress living between our house and theirs causes and the split loyalties and the insane schedules and the parental demands all ON TOP OF the business of just growing up.  I tend to be very soft on them in respect to chores because of it -- I hope that doesn't backfire in my face

* I feel for others in this financial crisis - but we're really unscathed by it at the moment; plus also - I'm responsible with my money and have a hard time weeping for idiots who bought more than they could ever afford

* I got the hankering for a trip somewhere

* I've now wasted enough time that there's a meeting I have to attend. It will be boring; my presence will be superflerous; my mind will wander and this meeting is for my "old position" that I will officially be out of on 11/28/08.  There are still lots of issues I could have taken care of there if I hadn't been so jaded and now I just have to let go of them, they're not my problem any longer.  Wait a minute...is that the feeling of a huge weight being lifted from my shoulders??  Wheeeeeeee!! Makes me kind of giddy.

I could go on but that's enough for now.  Y'all just have to wait another 6 months for a substantive post.

p.s. I could really use some Ugly Baby Shower Art if you're wondering what in the world to get me for Christmas...

F*cking SWEET!!

That isn't expensive salon shampoo, its a combination of Costco shampoo, 1.99 hair gel, riding in the convertible, clove smoke and two days without a shower. Glad you like it. : D

Today is my first day and I can't decide how to get there.

We had a great Portland to Coast experience.  I would so walk with that team again. Especially given the same legs and starting times. The early birds get the best spots at each exchange.

Alright, I gotta quit fiddle-fuckin around and get going.

TTYL!!

Going to the drive-in!

We're going to see WallE and Hancock at the Newburg drive-in tonight. I'm excited!  I wish summer would never end.

Its nice outside and I've got a jillion things to do.  Already washed the cars though!

I wrote a long, long e-mail to my grandparents this morning.  Another task done.

Does anyone know how to get rid of squirrels? They're ripping up my patio furniture cushions for nest making materials. Little fuckers.

There's something I want to do really bad right now but I don't have any popsicles...

K, gonna go to it.
